Let one angle be x

The larger angle will be x + 24

According to the question,

As they are complementary angles..

$x + (x + 24) = {90}^{o}$

So,

$2x + 24 = 90$

Transport 24 to RHS

$2x = 90 - 24$

$2x = 66$

Transport '2' to RHS

$x = \frac{66}{2}$

$x = 33$

Smaller angle = x = 33°

Larger angle = x + 24° = 33 + 24° = 57°
