6x²-7x - 3

to find the zeroes of the polynomial,

6x²-7x - 3 = 0

6x²-9x +2x -3 = 0

3x(2x-3) + 1(2x -3) = 0

(3x+1) (2x-3) = 0

x = -1/3 or 3/2

Answer:-

\purple{\bigstar} Zeroes of the polynomial are

\large\leadsto\boxed{\rm\blue{x = \dfrac{3}{2}}}

\large\leadsto\boxed{\rm\blue{x = \dfrac{-1}{3}}}

Given:-

\sf{6x^2 - 7x - 3}

To Find:-

Zeroes of the polynomial

Solution:-

\sf{6x^2 - 7x - 3}

Splitting the middle term:-

\sf{6x^2 - 9x + 2x - 3}

\sf{3x(2x - 3) + 1(2x - 3)}

\sf{(2x - 3)(3x + 1)}

Now,

\sf{(2x - 3)}

\sf{2x - 3 = 0}

\sf{2x = 3}

\boxed{\bf\red{x = \dfrac{3}{2}}}

Also,

\sf{(3x + 1)}

\sf{3x + 1 = 0}

\sf{3x = -1}

\boxed{\bf\red{x = \dfrac{-1}{3}}}

Therefore, the zeroes of the given polynomial are:-
