Mass of solvent (Water) = 25g Total mass of solution= 25g + 0.5g = 25.5g Percentage of solute = Mass of Solute Total mass of solution × 100 = 0. 5 g 25. 5 g × 100 = 1. 96

here is your answer ..

Ans.Mass of salt present=0.5g

Mass of water present in solution =25g

\% \: of \: the \: salt = \frac{0.5}{0.5 + 25} \times 100 \\

=1.96%
