 {(1.02)}^{2}   -  {(0.98)}^{2}  \\ we \: know \: that \:  ( {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2} ) = (x + y)(x - y) \\  =  =  > (1.02 + 0.98)(1.02 - 0.98) \\  = (2)(0.04) \\  = 2 \times  \frac{4}{100}  \\  =  \frac{4}{50}  \\  =  \frac{2}{25}

= 0.08
