Answer:

YES

Step-by-step explanation:

For anything to be AP the difference (d) must be equal

1/2-1= -1/2 - (1)

0-1/2= -1/2  - (2)

-1/2-0= -1/2 - (3)

As (1) , (2) and (3) are equal , it is an AP.

Answer:

Ap : 1, 1/2 , 0 , -1/2 ,....

=> a = 1 , a2= 1/2 , a3 = 0 , a4 = -1/2

=> d = a2 - a1 = a3 - a2 = a4 - a3

=> d = 1/2 - 1 = 0 - 1/2 = -1/2 - 0

=> d = -1/2 = -1/2 = -1/2 = -1/2

Common differnce is same ,

Therfore, 1, 1/2 , 0 , -1/2 ,.... is an A.P
