Answer :

1). -1(-2)+1

= -3+1

= -2

2). 3+(-8)÷2

= -5÷2

= -2.5

3). let the kelvin have x money and ruth have y money then bob have 1.5x money (acc.to ques.....1 1/2=3/2=1.5)

now,

x + y =115 --------eq1

1.5x + y = 130------eq2

from eq1

y = 115-x ----------eq3

put y value from eq3 to eq2

1.5x + 115-x = 130

0.5x = 130-115

x =15/0.5 = 150/5

x = 30

now put value of x in eq3

y = 115-30

y = 85

so, Ruth have (y)money = $85

Kelvin have (x) money = $30

Bob have (1.5x)money = $45

Hope this will help you :)
