This is actually a tricky question..but still there will be an answer for every questions.

Assume a=b

Multiply both sides by b. So, ab=b²

Then substract both sides by a². So, ab-a²=b²-a²

Factorise both sides: a(b-a)=(b-a)(b+a)

Simplify both sides: a=a+b

Add both sides with 1: a+1=a+b+1

As a=b, a+1=a+a+1 => a+1=2a+1

Assume a=1;

So, 1+1=2(1)+1 => 1+1=2+1 => 1+1=3

Hence proved that 1+1 = 3.
