therefore cost of 1 patty = 30/10

= 3rs

and cost of 5 pastries = 40 rs

therefore cost of 1 pastry = 40/5

= 8rs

we know that he wants to buy 6 patties and 6 pastries

therefore cost of 6 patties = 3x6. =18

cost of 6 pastries = 8x6. = 48

total money spent on both things=48+18

=66 Rs

Answer is 66Rs

!2 Cloth need to make 32 frocks of certain size = 72 meter

therefore cloth need to make 24 frock of same size = (72/32) x 24

= (2.25) x 24

= 54 meter
