The reaction equation between H2 and N2 is represented as.

N2 (g) + 3 H2 (g) => 2 NH3 (g)

Now it's given that we have 53 g of H2

Molar mass of H2 is 2 So moles of H2 in 53 g will be

53/2 = 26.5 moles

Now from the equation we know that 3 moles of H2 will react with 1 mole of N2

By applying Unitary method.

3 moles H2 react to => 1 mole N2

1 mole H2 will react to => 1/3 moles N2

26.5 moles H2 will react to => (1/3) × 26.5 moles

= 8.83 moles
