1/ 1+root 2 + 1/root2+ root3 + 2/root 3+ root 5. Now rationalise 1/1+root2, we get 1-root2/1-2 = root 2-1. Now rationalise 1/root2+ root3 , we get root2-root3 /2-3= root3-root2. Now rationalise 2/root3+ root 5= 2root3-2root5/3-5= 2root 3-2root5/-2= root5-root3. Now add them, we get root2-1+root3-root2 + root5-root3 = -1+root5 = root5-1.
