Let ABC be the given isosceles triangle.
Where AB = AC = x ( say)
So, let BC be 15x
Construction,
Draw AD perpendicular on BC such that AD is its height.
To find (I)
Perimeter of triangle ABC
AB + BC + AC = 42 cm
X + 15x + x = 42
17x = 42
X = 2.4
So AC = 2.4 cm
AB = 2.4 cm
BC = 36 cm
