Therefore, total number of animals = 5 oxen + 9 cow = 5 cow + 9 cow = 14 cow [ Because the rate of work of cow = rate of work of ox]

Now work done,i.e. amount grazed = number of animal × days = 14 × 19 days

Now for 3 oxen and 6 cows, total number of animal = 3 + 6 = 9 cows

Now work done that is amount grazed = number of animal × days = 9 × Number of days

Since the work to be done is same so

14× 19 = 9 × Number of days

Number of days= 2669 =29.55 days

So, can say

3 oxen and 6 cows can graze the same field in 29.55 days . ( Ans )
