 = (1.1x + 2.7y) (1.1x - 2.7y)

 = 1.1x(1.1x - 2.7y) + 2.7y(1.1x - 2.7y)

 = 1.21 {x}^{2}  - 2.97xy + 2.97xy - 7.29 {y}^{2}

 = 1.21 {x}^{2}   - 7.29 {y}^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

= (1.1x + 2.7y) (1.1x - 2.7y)=(1.1x+2.7y)(1.1x−2.7y)

= 1.1x(1.1x - 2.7y) + 2.7y(1.1x - 2.7y)=1.1x(1.1x−2.7y)+2.7y(1.1x−2.7y)

= 1.21 {x}^{2} - 2.97xy + 2.97xy - 7.29 {y}^{2}=1.21x

2

−2.97xy+2.97xy−7.29y

2

= 1.21 {x}^{2} - 7.29 {y}^{2}=1.21x

2

−7.29y
