value of n

n= 1

LHS = 1/2

RHS = 1/3+ 1= 2/3(no)

n=2

LHS = 1/2

RHS = 1/3+2= 7/3(no)

here value would be > 0 < 1

now value of n = 1/3

LHS= 1/2

RHS = 1/3+1/2= 5/6

n= 1/5

LHS = 1/2

RHS = 1/3+ 1/5= 8/15

for n = 1/6

LHS= 1/2

RHS = 1/3+ 1/6 = 3/6= 1/2

hence value of n = 1/6

hope it helps ✌

Step-by-step explanation:

1/2=1/3+n

By trial and error method:

Let n=2

1/2=1/3+2

=1/2=6+1/3=7/3

Hence n is not equal to 2.

So value of n can be between 0<1

Let n=1/6

1/2=1/3+1/6

1/2=2+1/6=3/6=1/2

Hence n=1/6.
