SOLUTION

TO EXPRESS

In the simplest ratio form

 \sf{ 1.2  \:  :  \: 3.6 \:  : \:6 }

EVALUATION

STEP : 1

 \sf{ 1.2  \:  :  \: 3.6 \:  : \:6 }

 \displaystyle =  \sf{  \frac{12}{10}   \:  :  \:  \frac{36}{10}  \:  : \:6 }

STEP : 2

Here the LCM of the denominators = 10

STEP : 3

Multiplying each ratio by 10 we get

 \sf{ 1.2  \:  :  \: 3.6 \:  : \:6 }

 \displaystyle =  \sf{ \bigg(  \frac{12}{10} \times 10 \bigg) :  \bigg( \frac{36}{10} \times 10 \bigg) : (6  \times 10)}

  = \sf{ 12  \:  :  \: 36 \:  : \:60 }

STEP : 4

Here 12 is the common factor of the three terms

STEP : 5

Dividing each of terms by 12

 \sf{ 1.2  \:  :  \: 3.6 \:  : \:6 }

 \displaystyle =  \sf{ \bigg(  \frac{12}{10} \times 10 \bigg) :  \bigg( \frac{36}{10} \times 10 \bigg) : (6  \times 10)}

  = \sf{ 1 \:  :  \: 3\:  : \:5}

Which is of the required simplest form
