i will try my best to explain your doubt/question . so basically the equation is 1/2×6 = 3

so here 1/3 x 6 is the on the left side and 3 is on the right side of the equal-to symbol so now lets solve the one on the left side first, so

1/2*6 so you multiply the numerator by the other numberator so the numerator in 1/2 is 1 and the numberator in 6 is 6. so 6x1=6 so now its 6/2 and when you divide 6/2 , you get 3 and now lets check if the answer we got is the same has the number on the right side and if it is the it is correct so

we got 3 on the left side and 3 on the right side

3 = 3

problem solved, u can further simplify this by cutting off the 3 on the both side since it is on the different side of the equation and it would become 1
