Given :- A and B enter into a partnership with Rs. 6250 and Rs. 7500. After 4 months A with draw Rs. 1250 and B puts Rs. 2500 more. If A gets 10% of the total profit for maintenance and remaining be distributed. Find the share B in the total profit of Rs. 17500 at the end of a year.

1) Rs. 8400

2) Rs. 7600

3) Rs. 9900

4) Rs.9900

Answer :-

→ Profit of A : Profit of B = (6250 * 4 + 5000*8) : (7500 * 4 + 10000 * 8) = 65000 : 110000 = 65 : 110 = 13 : 22 .

now,

→ A recieved for maintenance = 10% of Rs.17500 = (10 * 17500)/100 = Rs.1750 .

so,

→ Left profit for distribution = 17500 - 1750 = Rs.15750

then,

→ Share of B at the end of the year = 15750 * (22/35) = Rs.9900 (3) (Ans.)
