As we know that,

So,

$\frac{1\:Km}{1\:min} =\frac{1000\:m}{60\:sec}\\=>\frac{1\:Km}{1\:min.} =\frac{100}{6} \frac{m}{sec}\\=>Km/min. =\frac{50}{3}m/sec.$

So, for converting 1.2 Km/minutes into m/sec. we have to multiply the given value by $\frac{50}{3}$

Hence, we we will get,

$1.5\times \frac{50}{3} = \frac{12}{10}\times \frac{50}{3}\\=>\frac{600}{30} = 20\:m/sec.$

Hence, 1.2 Km/minutes will be equal to 20 m/sec.
