Answer:

1.Diffusion is insufficient to make oxygen requirements in multicellular organisms because

firstly it is very slow process and generally multicellular organisms have huge body and they need oxygen in all parts quickly to derive energy and oxygen is not much soluble in fluid .

2. Simply we can use molecular movement in them like breathing , running etc .

3.Various outside raw materials used by an organism to perform life process are as follows: Food like plants and other animals as a source of supplying energy and materials. Oxygen for the breakdown of food to obtain energy. Water for proper digestion of food and other functions inside the body.

4.Life process is essential for life .

hope it helps !

What criteria do we use to decide whether something is alive?

Walking, breathing, growth and other visible changes can be used to determine whether something is alive or dead. However some living things will have changes that are not visible to our eye; Hence, presence of life process is a fundamental criteria to decide whether something is alive.
