1/2 X 3/7- 5/7 X 1/2+2 = -15/7

Given:

1/2 X 3/7- 5/7 X 1/2+2

To Find:

To simplify the given expression.

Solution:

We have to use the BODMAS rule to simplify the given expression. BODMAS is a rule to solve an expression. BODMAS stands for, 'Brackets, Order, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction.

1/2 X 3/7- 5/7 X 1/2+2

We have to operate Multiply first,

⇒ 3/14 - 5/14 +2

Now, we have to operate in addition

⇒ 3/14 - (5+28) /14

⇒ 3/14 - 33/14

At last, we have to do Subtraction

⇒  (3-33)/14

⇒  -30/14

⇒ -15/7

∴ 1/2 X 3/7- 5/7 X 1/2+2 = -15/7
