Given equation is \frac{1}{2} \times (x+x+16)\times 15=300

We given have to find the values of x

\frac{1}{2} \times (x+x+16)\times 15=300

first of solving the bracket terms i.e

=x+x+16\\=2x+16

after that 2x+16 is multiplying by 15 we get, 30x+240

dividing \frac{1}{2} by ( 30x+240) and adding both terms, we get

15x+120=300

Subtracting 120 from 300,we get 180

x=\frac{180}{15}

x=12

Therefore, the value of x is equal to 12.

Answer:

The value of x is 12.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : \frac{1}{2} *(x+x+16)*15=300

To find : The value of x.

Solution :

  • The given equation is, \frac{1}{2} *(x+x+16)*15=300
  • We have to find the value of x.
  • To find the value of x, we have to use BODMAS rule.
  • BODMAS Rule states that while solving any algebraic expressions, first solve B-Brackets, O-Order, D-Division, M-Multiplication, A-Addition and S-Subtraction.
  • Now, the expression is,

    \frac{1}{2} *(x+x+16)*15=300

  • Solve the bracket first, we get

    \frac{1}{2} *(2x+16)*15=300

  • Transpose 2 to other side, we get

        ∴ (2x+16)*15=300*2

              ∴ 30x+240=600

  • Transpose 240 to the other side, we get

              ∴ 30x=600-240

                ∴ 30x=360

  • Transpose 240 to the other side, we get

                 ∴ x=\frac{360}{30}

                   ∴ x=12

  • ∴ The value of x is 12.
