• Base of 1st triangle is 9 units and height is 5 units.

• Base of 2nd triangle is 10 units and height is 6 units.

{ \huge{ \underline{ \underline{ \sf{ \green{To \: find :}}}}}}

• What's the r atio of areas of these triangles?

Formula to be used :-

Area of a triangle = ½ × Base × Height

{ \huge{ \underline{ \underline{ \sf{ \green{SoluTion : }}}}}}

1st triangle :-

Base = 9 units

Height = 5 units

Hence, Area of 1st triangle

= ½ × 9 × 5 units²

= 22.5 units²

2nd triangle :-

Base = 10 units

Height = 6 units

Area of 2nd triangle

= ½ × 10 × 6 units²

= 30 units²

Here, we get

Area of 1st triangle is = 22.5 units²

Area of 2nd triangle is = 30 units²

Now, find their ratio.

Ratio :-

Area of 1st triangle : Area of 2nd triangle

= 22.5 : 30

= 45 : 60

Hence, ratio of areas of these 2 triangles is = 45:60
