Given:-

1.)

➜22x+25y=304–(1)

➜25x+22y=307–(2)

2.)

➜21x+47y=110–(1)

➜47x+21y=162–(2)

\rule{200}{1}

To Find:-

➜The Value of x and y?

\rule{200}{1}

AnsWer:-

1.)

✪Subtracting Eq-(1)&(2)✪

↝3x-3y=3—[÷by 3]

↝x-y=1–(3)

✪Adding Eq-(1)&(2)✪

↝47x+47y=611—[÷by 47]

↝x+y=13–(4)

▼Subtracting (3)&(4)▼

↝-2y=-12

↝y= \frac{\cancel{-12}}{\cancel{-2}}

☞y=6–(5)

•Using (5)in (3)•

↝x-6=1

↝x=6+1

☞x=7

\rule{200}{1}

2.)

✪Subtracting Eq-(1)&(2)✪

↝26x-26y=52—[÷by 26]

↝x-y=2–(3)

✪Adding Eq-(1)&(2)✪

↝x+y=4–(4)

▼Subtracting (3)&(4)▼

↝2y=2

↝y= \frac{\cancel{2}}{\cancel{2}}

☞y=1–(5)

•Using (5)in(3)•

↝x-1=2

↝x=2+1

☞x=3

QUESTION :

1. 22x + 25y =304 ; 25x +22y =307

2. 21x + 47y = 110. ; 47x + 21y =162

Solve these...

SOLUTION :

We have the following equations :

  • PART I :

 22x + 25 y = 304 \: , \: 25x + 22y = 307

 &#8658 Sum \: = \: 47 x + 47 y = 611

 &#8658 x + y = 13

 &#8658 Difference \: = \:-3 x + 3y = -3

 &#8658 x - y = 1

So,

X = 7, y = 6

The values of X = 7 and y = 6 satisfies the first set of equations.

  • PART II :

 21 x + 47 y = 110 \: , 47x + 21 y = 162

 &#8658 Sum \: = \: 68 x + 68 y = 272

 &#8658 x + y = 4

 &#8658 Difference \: = \: -26 x + 26 y = -52

 &#8658 x - y = 2

So,

X = 3 , y = 1

The values of X = 3 and y = 1 satisfies the second set of equations.
