Question

1.25 Rounded off to two significant figures gives:

a) 1.3
b) 1.2

My book says that it should be 1.2 but Google says that it should be 1.3

Please clarify

it should be 1.3
because when ever adjucent right digit is greater than 4 & we have to round off then we add 1 to the rounded last figure
