we need to find molarity

we know , Molarity=Moles of solute in gm/volume of solution in litres

hence the moles of solute i.e. acetic acid = given mass /molar mass

=1.26/60(molar mass of acetic acid is 60gm)

=0.021 moles of acetic acid

now 500ml =0.5 litres ,because the formula for molarity need volume of solution in litres

putting values in formula,

Molarity=0.021/0.5

=0.042 mol/litres
