let 1/x = u

and 1/y = v

Now, \frac{u}{2} + \frac{v}{3} = 2

taking LCM and factorising, you'll get:

3u + 2v = 12 .................(i)

and again, factorising the second equation,

2u + 3v = 13 ...................(ii)

now, comparing both equations and solving them by elimination method,

6u + 4v = 24

6u + 9v = 39

cancelling 6u,

9v - 4v = 39 - 24

5v = 15

v = 3

If v = 3, then, sub v in eq (ii)

2u + 9 = 13

2u = 4

u = 2

u = 1/x

1/u = x

so, x = 1/2

v = 1/y

1/v = y

so, y = 1/3
