x  =  2

y  =  3

Solution:

 \frac{1}{2}  x +  \frac{1}{3} y = 2 \: .....(1)

 \frac{1}{3} x +  \frac{1}{2} y =  \frac{13}{6}  \: .....(2)

Multiplying the equation (1) & (2) by 6 .

we get,

3x + 2y = 12 \: .....(3)

2x + 3y = 13 \: .....(4)

After adding the equation (1) & (2).

we get,

5x + 5y = 25 \:

Dividing it by 5.

we get,

x + y = 5  \: .....(5)

Substrating the equation (3) & (4).

we get,

x - y = -1 \: .....(6)

By solving the equation (5) & (6).

we get,

x  =  2

y  =  3
