(1) 2x + 3y = 12 ; x - y = 1
(2) x – 3y=1; 3x – 20+4= 0​

2x+3y=12

x-y=1×3

step 2

2x+3y=12

3x-3y=3

step3

5y=15

y=15/5

y=3

then put the value of y in equation 1 or 2

x-5=1. (y=5)

x=5+1

×=6

now In 2 question

the question is wrong or it can be done like this

3x-20+4=0

3x-16=0

3x=16

x=16/3

x=16/3

putting the value of x in equation 1

x-3y=1

16/3-3y=1

3y=-3/16+1

3y=-3+16/16. ( by L.C.M )

3y=13/16

y=3×13/16

y=39/16

I think that this question is wrong
