2x+3y=-4....eq 1

x-5y=11........eq 2

multiply eq 2 by 2

=2(x-5y=11)

=2x-10y=22 ....eq 3

substract eq 1 and 3

2x+3y=-4

-2x+10y=-22

=13y=-26

=y=-26/13

=y=-2
