1/3 + 1/2 + 1/4

Step 1: Find the L.C.M. of the denominators i.e.
3,2,4.
L.C.M= 12
Step 2: Find the equivalent fractions of each term such that the denominators are equal to the L.C.M i.e. 12.
=> ( 1×4)/(3×4)= 4/12
(1×6)/(2×6)=6/12
(1×3)/(4×3)=3/12
Step 3: Add the equivalent fractions to get the answer.
4/12 + 6/12 +3/12
=(4+6+3)/12
= 13/12. (Ans)
