 Two \:rational \: numbers \:can \:be \: added

 in \:any \: order.

 Thus \: for \:any \:two \: rational \: numbers

 \frac{a}{b} , \frac{c}{d} , we \: have

\boxed{\blue{  \frac{a}{b} + \frac{c}{d} = \frac{c}{d} + \frac{a}{b}}}

 LHS = \frac{ -1}{3} + \frac{2}{5}

 = \frac{ -5 + 6}{15}

 = \frac{1}{15} \: ---(1)

 RHS  = \frac{ 2}{5} + \Big(\frac{-1}{3}\Big)

 = \frac{ 6 - 5}{15}

 = \frac{1}{15} \: ---(2)

 \therefore LHS = RHS

 \blue {\frac{ -1}{3}} + \pink {\frac{2}{5} }= \pink{\frac{ 2}{5} }+ \blue{\Big(\frac{-1}{3}\Big)}

 \orange {( Commutative \: Property )}
