This can be done using the formula,

On applying formula,


s_{16} =  \frac{16}{2} (1 + 31) \\  \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 8(32) \\  \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 256





 \bold{ \underline{Sum  \: of \:  given  \: sequence  \: is  \:  \: 256}}
