Solution:

Formula of nth term :

$a_n=a+(n-1)d$

a = first term=1

d= common difference = 3-1 = 5-3=2

So, 55=1+(n-1)(2)

55=1+2n-2

55=2n-1

55+1=2n

56=2n

28 = n

Hence 28 th term of this AP is 55
