Let at temperature x oC , Celsius scale is half of that on Fahrenheit scale ,

We have relation between Celsius scale and Fahrenheit scale ,

100T C −0 = 180T F−32 ,

As Celsius scale is half of that on Fahrenheit scale i.e. Fahrenheit scale is double of that on Celsius scale ,

Hence , T F

=2xo F ,100x−0

= 1802x−32,or x=160°C ,
