The height of parallelogram is one-third of its base. If the area is 108 cm square, find the base and height

Let,

the base of the Parallelogram = x cm

Area of a Parallelogram = base × height  

108 = x ×begin math size 16px style 1 third straight x end style x  

x2 = 108 × 3 = 324

Therefore x = 18

base = x = 18 cm

height = 6 cm
