Your answer,

If (a+b)^3= (a+b)(a^2+2ab+b^2) then,

=(1/3x+2/3y)(1/3x)^2+2(1/3x)(2/3y)+(2/3y)^2

=1/8x^3+1/2x^2y+2/3xy^2+8/27y^3
