Answer:

x=12

Step-by-step explanation:

1/3x-2/3x=3-7

First, we match the like terms, changing its side because there was an equal sign in the middle that changed its sign from positive '+' to negative'-'

-1/3x=-4

Now I solved the problems, but I am going to simplify it to find the value of only 'x'

x=12

I cross multiplied -3 with -4 giving me 12 because '-' + '-' is equal to '+' hence the value of x is 12.

Solution :-

If Question is ,

→ (1/3x) + 7 = 3 + (2/3x)

→ 7 - 3 = (2/3x) - (1/3x)

→ 4 = (1/3x)

→ x = (1/3*4)

→ x = (1/12)

if Question is,

→ 1/(3x + 7) = 3 + (2/3x)

→ 1/(3x + 7) = (9x + 2)/3x

→ 3x = (9x + 2)(3x + 7)

→ 3x = 27x² + 63x + 6x + 14

→ 3x = 27x² + 69x + 14

→ 27x² - 66x + 14 = 0

solving this we get,

→ x = √(79) + 11/9 and 11 - √79/9
