So a/3+b/3=3/4

4a-4b=-1----------------(2)

a=1/4
Put a in eq (1)
1+4b=3
b=1/2
So 1/(3x+y)=1/4
3x+y=4-------------------(3)
1/(3x-y)=1/2
3x-y=2--------------------(4)
