1/3x+y+1/3x-y=3/4,1/2(3x+y)-1/2(3x-y)=-1/8 solve

Answer:

a- 1/3x+y+1/3x-y=3/4

1/3x+1/3x=3/4

2/3x=3/4

x=3/4*3/2

x=9/8

b- 1/2(3x+y)-1/2(3x+y)= -1/8

3/2x+1/2y-3/2x-1/2y= -1/8

3/2x-3/2x+1/2y-1/2y= -1/8

= -1/8
