Answer = 2nd quadrant......!!!!

-1 is negative and 4 is positive.... so (-1,4 ) it will lie in 2nd quadrant........!!!!

how to identify which numbers come under which quadrant...!!!

let assume that the first number is X and the second number is Y...!!!..

1st quadrant...

if X and Y both are positive (+) then this number will come under 1st quadrant...!!

example= (1, 4)

2nd quadrant....

if X is negative(-) and y is positive(+) then this will come under 2nd quadrant....!!

example= (-1, 4)

3rd quadrant....

if X and Y both are negative(-) then it will come under 3rd quadrant...!!

example= (-1, -4)

4th quadrant....

if X is positive( + ) and Y is negative( - ) then this will come under 4th quadrant....!!!!

example = (1, -4)......
