1) 4 men and 6 boys can finish a piece of work in 5 days while 3 men and 4 boys can finish it in 7 days. Find the time taken by 1 man alone or that by 1 boy alone.
2)Draw the graphs of the equations 4x – y – 8 = 0 and 2x – 3 y + 6 = 0. Also determine the vertices of the
triangle formed by the lines and x-axis.

Let n be the no of days taken by a man .
I man's 1 day work =1\n
Let m be the no days taken by a boy
I boys one day work=1\m

4/n + 6/n = 1/5 ____1
3/n + 4/n = 1/7_____2

Let
I/n = a. 1/m = b

4a +6b =1/5
3a + 4b = 1/7

Now by using substitution method or elimination or etc .... We'll get the ans as n=25 and m=70
