Hello Dear.

Here is the answer---

∵ 135 liters of Water is holded by 1/4 th part of the tank.
∴ 1 liters of Water is holded by 1/( 4 × 135)th part of the tank.
∴ 180 liters of Water is holded by (180/540)th part of the tank.
= 1/3 th part of tank.

∴ 180 liters of the Water is holded by the 1/3 th part of the tank.

Hope it helps.

Have a Good Day.

1/3rd is the answer you are looking for.

We know that 1/4th of the tank holds 135 litres of water.
Thus, the capacity of the tank is 135*4 = 540 litres

If the tank contains 180 litres of water, then the part of the tank that is full is given by Volume of water in the tank / Total Capacity

= 180 / 540
= 1 / 3

Thus, one-third (1/3) of the tank is full.
