Is it 3 2/5 and 4 1/3 or just 3×2/5 and 4×1/3?

I'm doing for both case.

1st case,

if those are mixed numbers,

3 2/5 = 17/5 and 4 1/3 = 13/3

so, in one hour Ricky walks 17/5 Kms, so in 13/3 hours, he'll cover a distance of 17/5 × 13/3 Kms

= 221/15 Kms

= 14 11/15 Kms

2nd case,

3×2/5 = 6/5 and 4×1/3 = 4/3

we multiply them again to get the covered distance,

6/5 × 4/3 Kms

= 8/5 Kms
