Identity II:

 {(x + y)}^{2}  =  {(x)}^{2}   -  2xy +  {(y)}^{2}

Given:

 {( \sqrt{5}  -  \sqrt{3}) }^{2}

Solution:

 {( \sqrt{5} -  \sqrt{3}  )}^{2}  =  {( \sqrt{5} )}^{2}   - 2( \sqrt{5} )( \sqrt{3} )  +  {( \sqrt{3}) }^{2}

 = 5 - 2 \sqrt{15}  + 3

 = 8 + 2 \sqrt{15}

Answer:

 = 2(4 +  \sqrt{15} )
