Multiplying (i)and(ii) Equation with 10
We will get:
15x+1y=62-(i)
30x-4y=112-(ii)
Multiplying (i)Eq by 2 and (ii)Eq by 1 We get,
30x+1y=62
30x-4y=112
(-) (+) (-) {Sign will be changed}

0-4y=-50 {Minus and Minus will be cutted}
4y=50
y=50/4
Answer: y=12.5
Putting value of y=12.5 in (1)Eq we get,
15x+1(12.5)=62
15x+12.5=62
15x=62-12.5
15×=49.5
x=49.5/15
Answer: x=3.3
