Answer :

Distance = area under graph = area of five parts under graph

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 2 \times 20 + 2 \times 20 + 1 \times 20 +  \frac{1}{2 }  \times 1 \times 20 +  \frac{1}{2 }  \times 1 \times 40

• Distance =

20 + 40 + 20 + 10 + 20 = 110m

Displacement = area above x axis −area under x axis

= 90−20=70m

→ 110,70.
