Answer:
When Gandhi appealed for teachers Mahadev Desai and Narhari Parikh, two young men who just joined Gandi as disciples and their wives volunteered for the work. Many more came from Bombay, Poona and other distant parts of the country. Gandhi's youngest son Devadas and his wife Kasturba also arrived. She taught them the Ashram rules on personal cleanliness and community sanitation. Gandhi also got a doctor to volunteer his service for six months.
