Write any three differences between Prototheria​

The Prototheria is a former subclass of mammals, now no longer in use. The name comes from Greek prōtos means 'first', and thēr, 'beast'. The only surviving animals in this subclass are the Monotremes

There are two other subclasses, the Metatheria and the Eutheria. Metatheria contains the marsupials. All the other mammals are Eutherian.

Evidence is accumulating that the Prototheria is not a natural group, but alternative suggestions are not yet agreed.

प्रोटोथीरिया एवं मेटाथीरिया में स्तनधारी, वृषण उदरीय तथा दांत का अंतर है।

Explanation:

प्रोटोथीरिया-

1. इसमें अण्डे देने वाले आदिम स्तनधारी में आते हैं।

2. नर में वृषण उदरीय होते हैं।

3. वयस्क में दाँत अनुपस्थित होते हैं।

मेटाथीरिया-

1. इन जन्तुओं में मार्क्सपियम उदरधानी होती है जिसमें अपरिपक्व शिशु का परिवर्धन होता है।

2. वृषण उदरीय गुहा के बाहर वृषण कोषों में शिश्न के सामने स्थित होते हैं।

3. वयस्क में दाँत उपस्थित होते हैं।

अतः सही है, प्रोटोथीरिया एवं मेटाथीरिया में स्तनधारी, वृषण उदरीय तथा दांत का अंतर है।
