16x^2 -8x +1 = 0

16x^2 - 4x -4x +1 = 0

4x( 4x -1) -( 4x-1)= 0

( 4x-1)^2 = 0

x= 1/4

Given 16x^{2}-8x+1

Splitting the middle term, we get 16x^{2}-4x-4x+1

Taking the common factor, we get 4x(4x-1)-1(4x-1)

=(4x-1)(4x-1)

=(4x-1)^{2}

Therefore, (4x-1)^{2} is 16x^{2}-8x+1.
