1. a) A train 250 m long passes a signal post in 10 seconds. Find its speed. b) A jogger covers a distance of 7.5 km in 250 mins. Find the jogger's speed in m/s.

Answer:

a): 250/10=25m/second

b): (7.5 km/250 mi)= 7.5×1000 m/(250×60 sec)

=7.5×4/60

=7.5/15

=0.5 m/sec
